About Us
SafetyJourney is a niche consultancy, studying and interpreting Neuroscience research then applying this to achieve high impact, positive outcomes for industry.
Our effectiveness lies in our ability to guide our clients through an unexpected experience during which their brains, quite literally, form new networks and connections. This means that clients view their potential for personal and business growth and success in a genuinely innovative and never-before-considered way. This experience results in a powerfully motivated and energised state of mind, enabling the required conditions for sustainable change and improvement.
SafetyJourney is committed to optimal and sustainable personal and business outcomes for its clients. Our approach is innovative and different because we integrate over 20 years’ of diverse experience with cutting edge Neuroscience to carefully design engagements which provide the information and conditions that our brains really need to engage and drive solutions. The field of Cognitive Neuroscience is showing us that some of these needs are surprisingly different to the corporate world’s “standard methodologies”!
We partner with like-minded companies and participate in innovative projects which break new ground in their fields.
Victorian Government Workplace Training and Innovation Fund Projects
Virtual reality is the spearhead of a bold overhaul of the Cert IV and Diploma courses in Building and Construction. The project has updated the entire course learning materials in consultation with industry and TAFEs – allowing students to learn concepts and then practice their skills safely on a virtual worksite.
Virtual reality, computer gaming and cognitive neuroscience have all been used in this futuristic program to improve how train drivers are trained.
The interactive learning design places trainees in an immersive environment and allows training techniques to keep pace with rapidly evolving rail network technology.
